Local Excel - VanCharts data set

      Excel, a small database most widely used, is the choice for most users to store data. So how to call data in Excel to be the data source for Javascript Charts VanCharts?

      Below is a sample of data in Excel:

1. Data import

      Create a new chart template in the chart maker, then select column chart and Local EXCEL in the Data Source. Click "Select Path" button to add local Excel file. Then click preview to see data in Excel. The titles in the first row will be analyzed as the name of each column as shown below:

      Note: For Excel file, the data in the first row is adopted as name of each column. If the first row is blank or not intended to be used as the column name, it will still be analyzed as the column name despite data included.

2. Data allocation

      Configure data for the column chart in the chart maker as shown below:

      Save template and click preview to see the effect below:
